Structured Query Language

            (Online & Classroom Training)

SQL is a database language which is used to create a database and perform operations on the existing database. A database is a systematic collection of data which supports storage and manipulation of data.
Databases make data management easy.
Database Management System (DBMS) is a collection of programs which helps in reporting & representation of data along with database access to users, allowing them to manipulate data.
Also, DBMS helps to control user access to the database.

The special type of DBMS called Relational DBMS, defines database relationships in the form of tables Examples: MySQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server database.
RDBMS does not support many to many relationships. Relational DBMS usually have pre-defined data types that they can support.

SQL Training At Century IT Services

We train on SQL which is needed for Testers in their work to operate on the databases of the application while testing.

These SQL commands are categorized into:
• DDL(Data Definition Language) : This consists of the SQL commands that can be used to define the database schemas. DDL is used to create and modify the structure of database objects in database.

• DML(Data Manipulation Language) : This consists of SQL commands that deals with the manipulation of data present in database.

• DCL(Data Control Language) : This includes commands access commands such as GRANT and REVOKE which mainly deals with the access rights, permissions and controls of the database.

• TCL(transaction Control Language) : This set of SQL commands deals with the transaction within the database.
